 Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - The Wheels 
 Job Purpose 
Achieve targets across various assigned parameters. Oversee the Car Finance business while maintaining compliance requirements. Manage relationships with partners and agencies.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collections targets by visiting customers and agencies.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with during product repossession.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Manage Daily Risk Reports (DRR).
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Track cases individually and ensure resolution as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) within agreed timelines.
  • Oversee portfolio management and debt collection strategies.
  • Ensure achievement of targets and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to collections and risk management.
  • Provide team leadership and manage vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal and external clients.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Proven experience in achieving collections targets in a similar role.
  • Experience in monitoring performance and reporting on key metrics.
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines related to debt collection and repossession.
  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle escalations and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience in risk reporting (e.g., DRR) and case management.
  • Ability to develop strategies for improved collection rates.
  • Portfolio management and debt collection strategy experience.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services.
  • Analytical skills for reporting and risk management.
  • Experience in team leadership and vendor management.
  • Strong coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
