Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - The Wheels
Job Purpose
Achieve targets across various assigned parameters. Oversee the Car Finance business while maintaining compliance requirements. Manage relationships with partners and agencies. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections targets by visiting customers and agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with during product repossession.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Manage Daily Risk Reports (DRR).

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Track cases individually and ensure resolution as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) within agreed timelines.

Oversee portfolio management and debt collection strategies.

Ensure achievement of targets and regulatory compliance.

Prepare and analyze reports related to collections and risk management.

Provide team leadership and manage vendor relationships.

Coordinate with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in achieving collections targets in a similar role.

Experience in monitoring performance and reporting on key metrics.

Knowledge of legal guidelines related to debt collection and repossession.

Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle escalations and resolve issues efficiently.

Experience in risk reporting (e.g., DRR) and case management.

Ability to develop strategies for improved collection rates.

Portfolio management and debt collection strategy experience.

Understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services.

Analytical skills for reporting and risk management.

Experience in team leadership and vendor management.

Strong coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
