Job Description

Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - SME
Job Purpose
To achieve Debt Management Services targets of the respective branch assigned, ensuring meeting PI targets. Continuously monitor Debt Management Services agencies and in-house collectors to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Case-to-case tracking.

Ensure resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management.

Develop and execute debt collection strategy.

Achieve targets as assigned.

Ensure regulatory compliance.

Reporting and analysis.

Risk management.

Team leadership.

Vendor management.

Coordinate with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in collections, debt management, or a similar role.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in debt collection.

Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and reporting abilities.

Experience in vendor and portfolio management is preferred.

Ability to handle escalations and resolve issues promptly.

Familiarity with risk management and daily reporting procedures.
