Assistant Manager- Corporate Tax

Role Overview: As a part of BDO India Services Private Limited, you will be responsible for various tax and advisory tasks to ensure smooth operations for both domestic and international organizations. You will play a key role in managing tax compliance and providing direct tax advisory services to clients. Additionally, you will be involved in networking, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring timely completion of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Compute monthly withholding tax liability and assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly withholding tax statements. - Assist in preparing applications for lower withholding tax. - Prepare and file corporate income tax returns. - Provide direct tax advisory services for domestic and international tax matters. - Support representation and litigation, including income tax assessment and appeals, by drafting submissions. - Discuss technical issues with clients, gather relevant information, and develop rapport with client management. - Advise on Double Taxation Avoidance Treaty and withholding tax applicability. - Identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate with the team manager. - Manage teams effectively to ensure project completion within budgeted time and cost. - Demonstrate good communication skills for effective client interaction.
