Job Description

To ensure robust quality assurance and control across all civil construction activities during the setup of a plant. This includes foundations, structural works, roads, drains, and other civil infrastructure, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, QAPs, and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Quality Assurance
: Enforce QAPs, ITPs, and technical specs for all civil works including turbine foundations, control buildings, cooling towers, etc.
Material Testing & Verification
: Supervise lab and field testing of concrete, aggregates, soil, and steel as per IS/ASTM standards.
Drawing & Specification Compliance
: Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
Inspection & NCR Management
: Conduct site inspections, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and drive corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
: Maintain quality records, test reports, inspection logs, and commissioning documentation.
Statutory & Environmental Compliance
: Ensure adherence to Factory Act, PCB norms, and other statutory requirements.
Audit & Review
: Support internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
