Assistant Manager CAD (CIVIL -SOLAR PROJECTS ONLY)

As an Assistant Manager-Civil at ENGIE in Pune, India, your role includes the following responsibilities: - Conduct site visits in India and overseas during different project phases (pre-bid, construction, Operation and Maintenance), prepare site visit reports, feasibility assessments, and remedial measures for Solar PV plants as needed. - Review preliminary investigation reports, Geo-technical, topography, hydrology, and provide executive summaries and best suitable solutions for projects. - Prepare and review technical documentation, procedural guidelines, specifications for civil engineering activities, QAPs, Field Quality Plan, SOPs, and Checklists. - Review structure and infrastructure drawings, prepare bill of quantity, design basis reports, and design various elements in solar PV plants. - Design foundations for various elements in solar PV projects and sub-stations, conduct slope analysis, levelling, and grading for project areas. - Provide technical support to O&M, coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams during construction, and ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards. - Demonstrate knowledge of various IS, IRC, ASCE, ISO, and BS standards related to Engineering deliverables and construction materials. Qualifications required for this role: - Master/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech/MTech) or equivalent with 8-10 years of relevant work experience in the power generation sector, specifically in solar PV projects. - Experience in coordination of large EPC projects, renewable consultancy, BOQ preparation, design experience in overseas projects. - Proficiency in Auto-CAD, Civil -3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Google Earth, QGIS, Microsoft Office, STAAD Pro, etc. - Fluent in English (spoken and written) with good people management skills, flexibility, meticulousness, and proactive planning abilities.
