Assistant Manager CAD (CIVIL -SOLAR PROJECTS ONLY)

As an Assistant Manager - Civil in the Engineering & Design department of Solar projects at Pune, India, you will report directly to the Head of Civil Engineering. Your role will encompass overseeing all ENGIE activities in India and other countries where projects are executed. The position is stationed in Viman Nagar, Pune, with potential business trips within India and overseas. Your key responsibilities include conducting site visits in India and abroad across project phases, such as pre-bid, construction, operation, and maintenance. You will be tasked with preparing detailed site visit reports, feasibility assessments, and necessary remedial actions for Solar PV plants. Additionally, you will review investigative reports, geotechnical studies, and propose optimal solutions for projects. It will be your duty to develop technical documentation, procedural guidelines, specifications for civil engineering activities, and various quality assurance plans. Furthermore, you will be expected to design structural and infrastructural elements in solar PV plants, including foundations, drainage systems, roads, and building structures. Your role will involve creating essential drawings related to civil works, analyzing slopes, preparing levelling and grading plans, and providing technical support during operations and maintenance. Effective coordination with contractors, vendors, and project teams will be crucial, along with ensuring compliance with engineering standards. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience in the power generation sector, particularly in solar PV projects. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil-3D, HEC-RAS, STAAD Pro, etc., is essential. Strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure are key attributes required. Fluency in English, adaptability, good planning skills, and the ability to work independently are also essential for success in this role.
