Job Description

As a Billing Specialist for civil construction projects, your role will involve preparing and processing progress billing, verifying work quantities, and reviewing contract documents to ensure billing compliance. You will also track change orders and variations for accurate billing inclusion. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare progress billing for civil construction projects such as roads, bridges, dams, and tunnels - Verify completed work quantities against construction drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) - Review contract documents to ensure billing compliance with terms - Track change orders, variations, and extra work for proper billing inclusion Qualifications Required: - Ability to measure and quantify completed civil works through site inspections - Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and construction schedules - Experience in performing detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings - Knowledge of relevant measurement standards such as CESMM, POMI, or local standards - Skill in verifying material consumption against approved material requisitions In addition to the core responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain project documentation, manage financial aspects, coordinate with stakeholders, ensure compliance and quality control, and participate in dispute resolution processes.
