Assistant Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in updating and maintaining information on our investor/company databases and computer systems. Your responsibilities will include collecting and entering data in databases, updating the website, and ensuring the accurate maintenance of valuable company information. You will be tasked with inserting client, company, and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within set time limits. Additionally, you will compile, verify accuracy, and prioritize information to prepare source data for computer entry. It will be your responsibility to review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and conduct thorough research to obtain further information for incomplete documents. Utilizing data program techniques and procedures, you will generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform necessary backup operations. Other duties may include scanning documents, printing files, maintaining confidentiality, responding to information queries, and complying with data integrity and security policies. To excel in this role, you should have experience with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and data programs. Familiarity with administrative duties, proficiency in using office equipment such as fax machines and scanners, and a high typing speed with accuracy are essential. Your excellent grasp of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and strong organizational skills will be highly valued as you stay focused on assigned tasks. This internship opportunity requires a commitment of 3 months in-office and offers compensation for your contributions.
