Role Overview: As the Assistant Engineering Manager at Lucy Electric Manufacturing & Technologies India Pvt Ltd, your main purpose is to play a key role in the Current and Contract Engineering team. You will be responsible for guiding the team in detailed design & contract engineering of MV/LV Products, identifying development needs, coordinating with project managers for contracts timeline and budget, and utilizing your professional expertise in MV / LV Switchgear, manufacturing processes, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare a contract execution plan and guide the team in monitoring and executing activities within specified timelines - Ensure the design team follows processes developed by Lucy engineering team, prepare & check drawings, bill of material as per Lucy PLM & CAD system guidelines, and track design errors - Keep track of costs while reviewing customized solutions, guide the team to explore and evaluate alternate solutions and manufacturing processes - Plan and supervise prototype building, coordinate and witness internal/external testing, review schematics & wiring, and release in the system - Ensure preparation and maintenance of required data for product configuration for contract work and customization, validate logic, test functionality of Configurator, and train Sales team - Complete technical reviews within the standard timeline, maintain all contract/technical review files, and provide information for Management Reports on a monthly basis - Mentor and help the team maintain competencies needed for present and future projects, identify skill gaps, and work with management to fill those Qualification Required: - Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical with MV/LV switchgear background - Minimum Experience: 9 to 12 years of experience - Job-Specific Skills: Understanding of customer requirements, specifications, tender requirements, switchgear products & applications, cost analysis, manufacturing processes, interpretation of switchgear product standards, and associated testing If this opportunity sounds interesting to you and you possess the required qualifications and skills, Lucy Electric Manufacturing & Technologies India Pvt Ltd would love to hear from you.
