Assistant Engineer - Highways

Role Overview: You are an ambitious and dynamic Assistant Engineer joining the UK iCRC Highway team in Noida/Bengaluru. You will collaborate with the UK discipline team to develop and deliver projects through various design stages, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and construction. Key Responsibilities: - Work and support a variety of highways schemes. - Collaborate closely with the lead design engineer or work package manager to develop design solutions following relevant standards. - Act proactively in the design process and be involved in multiple projects simultaneously. - Contribute to various project types. - Utilize AutoCAD and other design software for design production and development. - Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures, including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. - 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in highway design. - Working towards a recognized professional qualification. Additional Company Details: The company expects you to demonstrate good knowledge of relevant design standards, use design software such as Civil 3D, Open Roads, MX, PDS/Key Line, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise proficiently. You should have the confidence to seek clarification of instructions, liaise with the UK project team, and possess good written and verbal communication skills. Desired skills include working knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCDHW), as well as the ability to support the production of technical specifications and reports.,
