Job Description Tasty Treats, Saltlake is looking for an Assistant Cook (North Indian Style) for offering support to our Head Chef in food preparation ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Some one having worked with restaurants, catering service, commercial kitchens will be preferred. Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation of dishes and cooking procedures. Chopping vegetables, preparing meats, chutneys and marinades. Monitoring stock and making requisitions for kitchen supplies and food items. Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food storage areas. Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service. Maintaining an organized kitchen environment. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Requirements and SkillsCulinary knowledge and skills. Experience in a similar role is mandatory. Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team spirit and a passion for cooking.
