Description
As an Accounting Professional at LSEG, your role involves working independently to support all aspects of accounting for a group of entities. You will collaborate with various partners for reporting, year-end submissions, and other accounting tasks to ensure compliance with accounting policies and Local Tax & GAAP requirements. It is essential to interact closely with different groups such as Business Divisions, General Accounting organization, Group Finance, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and other partners to maintain strong relationships with all collaborators. Key Responsibilities: - Independently or support other controllers in ensuring local statutory and tax compliance for a Country or group of Countries by working closely with 3rd party service providers - Collaborate with various business partners to accurately and timely account legal entities in enterprise systems, while ensuring good controls of underlying processes - Adhere to the month-end close reporting timetable, review critical accounts for reconciliation, and ensure accurate transaction coding in line with policies - Analyze all Balance Sheet and Cost accounts - Liaise with auditors for Statutory & SOX audits - Work with the Tax Team on tax packs, tax provisions booking, and monitoring tax account movements - Review quarterly calculations for Group books and perform true up calculations for local books with the Transfer Pricing Department - Provide support in tax audits as needed by the Tax Department, either directly or through 3rd party providers Qualifications: - Accounting Graduates with core prior experience in specific areas mentioned above In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
