Assistant Content Manager

At Decathlon Sports India, the purpose is to "Move people through the wonders of Sport" by transforming digitally and creating a WOW experience for users through seamless omni journeys both inside stores and online. The company is strategically transitioning its business model to grow the digital business by 3X in the next 2 years. As an Assistant Content Manager, you will be part of the digital commerce leadership team focusing on the design and upkeep of category hierarchy, attribute design of texts, images, videos & A+ content, activation of SKUs, QC checks, SEO compatibility of the catalogue and PDP, agency management, and AI in content management. Your responsibilities will include designing and managing the content strategy for the D2C website and marketplaces, identifying hygiene gaps, fixing the catalog, quality auditing for partners, cataloging for fresh products, and collaborating with Indian sports ecosystem leaders and digital category teams. You will work with relevant stakeholders in France to ensure best-in-class content for customers and set up a consistent process for products to go live post-checks. Innovating the catalogue structure with AI, lifestyle, and SEO elements, and demonstrating success through metrics and ROI analysis will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and implementing content strategy for the D2C website and marketplaces in alignment with leadership teams - Establishing processes, prioritizing key action items, and monitoring success metrics - Leading thought initiatives to incorporate AI in content - Collaborating with Indian and Global teams to implement best practices in content management - Managing content agencies by identifying, setting charters, and overseeing operations Qualifications: - Master's degree - 2-4 years of demonstrated expertise in content & catalogue management, preferably in D2C or ecommerce - Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver within timelines - Excellent communication skills with the capability to create visualizations and present to leadership teams Location: Anubhava, Chikkajala, Decathlon - Bangalore This role requires 4 days of work from the office.,
