Description
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Cameraman Head to lead and manage the camera department in a fast-paced media environment. The ideal candidate will oversee camera crews, ensure high-quality video output, maintain equipment standards, and coordinate coverage of news events and productions. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all camera operations and manage a team of cameramen and technical crew Plan and assign coverage for field shoots, studio work, and live events Ensure high-quality visuals through proper framing, lighting, and camera movement Maintain, inspect, and manage inventory of all camera and related equipment Train, mentor, and evaluate camera staff on best practices and new technologies Collaborate with producers, directors, and editors to meet creative and technical requirements Troubleshoot technical issues on the field and provide real-time solutions Enforce safety and operational protocols for camera operations Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Broadcasting, or related field 7–10 years of camera experience in media, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role Strong understanding of camera gear, lighting setups, and production workflows Experience with ENG and EFP shooting, multi-camera setups, and live broadcasting Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Preferred Skills: Familiarity with drones, gimbals, and advanced shooting techniques Knowledge of editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) Understanding of broadcast standards and file formats Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Internet reimbursement Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Work Location: In person
