Assistant Bookkeeper – QuickBooks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Bookkeeper to support our U.S.-based accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, a solid understanding of U.S. bookkeeping standards, and a passion for accuracy and organization. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow in international finance while working remotely from India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (Online/Desktop)
• Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in payroll processing and tax filings (as needed)
• Generate financial reports and assist with month-end closings
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits
• Communicate effectively with U.S. clients and internal teams

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience (preferably for U.S. clients)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Familiarity with U.S. tax forms (1099, W-9) is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other accounting tools (e.g., Xero, Zoho Books)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
