Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor (Law)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for teaching semester-length courses in various subjects such as Property Law, Family Law, Law of Crimes, Civil Procedure Code, Evidence Law/BSA, Environmental Law, ADR in B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. Hons. You should have prior experience in teaching core and/or elective courses with the support of student evaluation/feedback. Additionally, you will mentor students in their learning, research, writing, and tutorials. Your role will involve designing core courses, electives, and specialization courses for law students. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to institution building by introducing new academic thinking, innovative pedagogical techniques, and incorporating new technologies in teaching. Key Responsibilities: - Teach semester-length courses in Property Law, Family Law, Law of Crimes, Civil Procedure Code, Evidence Law/BSA, Environmental Law, ADR in B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. Hons. - Mentor students in their learning, research, writing, and tutorials. - Design core courses, electives, and specialization courses for law students. - Contribute to institution building by introducing new academic thinking, innovative pedagogical techniques, and new technologies in teaching. - Articulate a clear research agenda and engage in academic research leading to original scholarship published in high-quality peer-reviewed journals. - Fulfill academic duties related to internal assessments, evaluation, feedback, and examinations with integrity and commitment. Qualification Required: - Masters Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks. - Qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. - Preference for candidates with a Ph.D. degree in law or currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a reputed university.
