Job Description

Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle purchase and sales invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
Maintain bank, cash and ledger accounts and perform bank reconciliation.
Assist in preparation of monthly reports, P&L and Balance Sheet.
Handle GST-related accounting and assist in GST return preparation.
Assist with TDS calculations, payments and return filing.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Assist with payroll, salary, PF, ESI and statutory compliance work.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and vendors when required.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).
1–3 years of experience in accounting.
Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and basic accounting principles.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF and ESI will be an advantage.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
