Assistant Accountant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting records and ledgers, preparing invoices, bills, and receipts, reconciling bank statements and vendor accounts, assisting in financial report preparation, filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your role will involve coordinating with auditors during internal and external audits and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting records and ledgers. - Prepare and process invoices, bills, and receipts. - Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Help in filing tax returns, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. - Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. - Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of accounting tasks. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP). - Strong numerical and analytical skills. - Good communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines. Note: Experience of 12 years in accounting/finance is preferred, however, freshers with strong knowledge can also apply. Experience in GST working, Tally, BRS, and finalization of accounts for at least 3 years is required. This is a full-time job.,
