Assistant Accountant

As an Accounting Assistant at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of Accounting activities and reconciliation processes. Your primary responsibility will involve maintaining the Books of Accounts in Tally Prime, with a focus on aligning them with SAP. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization, especially the Finance sub-functions, to support them in their tasks, such as Statutory & Tax Audits. Key Responsibilities: - Record all Financial Transactions in Tally Prime - Document Purchases, Sales Tax Invoices, and expenses in Tally Prime - Manage all Invoices, Vendor Bills, etc., required for Statutory, Tax, and GST Audits - Keep Tally Prime updated and synchronized with SAP - Maintain accurate Vendors ledgers in alignment with SAP and obtain ledger confirmations - Handle Direct & Indirect Tax-related reconciliations for Tax and GST Audits - Assist in Local Statutory, Tax, and GST Audits - Foster proactive and transparent communication across departments Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience - Audit experience is preferred - Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus - Proficiency in SAP and Tally Prime is highly desirable - Knowledge of Direct & Indirect tax regulations is essential - Comfortable working with information systems - Positive attitude towards changes in business processes - Strong oral and written communication skills - Proficient in English language - Excellent PC skills, including Excel and Word - Demonstrated ability to take initiatives and prioritize work effectively - Adaptable team player with exceptional communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with various functional areas - Self-motivated with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines Please note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
