Assistant Accountant (for garment exports only)

As an Assistant Accountant at our garment manufacturing exports company in Noida, you will play a vital role in supporting daily accounting operations. Your attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel will be essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain day-to-day accounting entries using Tally or other accounting software. - Handle vendor invoices, purchase bills, and sales entries efficiently. - Assist in bank reconciliations and management of petty cash. - Keep accurate records of all financial transactions for reference and reporting. - Support monthly closing activities and contribute to financial reporting processes. - Ensure timely submission of GST, TDS, and other statutory records as required. - Coordinate with internal departments for document verification purposes. - Assist in preparing reports for audits and compliance checks effectively. Key Skills Required: - Solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with GST. - Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally ERP for efficient data management. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial tasks. - Excellent communication and time-management skills to collaborate effectively. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Qualifications: - B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance. - 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the garment or manufacturing sector.
