Assembly Operator

Role & responsibilities

Experience in aerospace component manufacturing is Must

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times
• Assemble and install aircraft components and parts on-time as per Shift Plan by following the SOPs
• Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks
• Inspect completed parts for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Maintain accurate log and records of production activities
• Perform routine maintenance checks on machines, equipment and tools as defined in check sheets / SOPs
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues as required
• Identify lean improvements and drive to implement the same
• Review non-conforming products and quality issues for parts manufactured in shift and participate in MRB to resolve
• Troubleshoot issues arising in Production parts and action to resolve
• Support new product development or process improvement through Tape Prove, FAI, DFAI
• Train and mentor team members
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge of Production processes

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as AS9100

Technical Competencies Required

• Hands on working experience on the following is a must
• Bush installation using Liquid Nitrogen
• Solid and blind rivet installation
• Fastener installation and Huck Bolt installation
• Sealant applications (Fay Bonding, Brush sealing, Over coating)
• Manual drilling and Reaming
• Paint touch-ups
• Electrical bonding
• Hands on working experience on using various inspection devices
• Basic computer skills MS Office, ERP System
• Must be able to fulfill all the requirements of this position, including requirements related to the companys Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System Policies and procedures
