ASL Operations/Middle Office, VP

Role Overview: You will be part of the ASL Operations/Middle Office team at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor all operational aspects of the PSPP Central Bank clients and provide support to the ASL operations teams in DIPL, along with supporting DB ASL's Front office. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a diverse team across 3 locations - Bangalore, Jaipur, and Pune - Responsible for the Service Delivery of ASL Ops locally, reporting to the Director (Global Cash Operations India NOC) and functionally to the Global Head of ASL Operations in London - Manage multiple teams across locations providing services on a 24x6 basis - Enhance controls, mitigate risks, achieve zero error delivery, and automate processes - Interact daily with DB ASL trading desks and client services team - Own the end-to-end process and ensure adherence to operational guidelines and standards - Manage risk, adhere to the risk & control framework, and ensure regulatory compliance - Develop strong engagement with regions, branches, and internal stakeholders - Manage teams, resource/headcount, and transitions effectively - Actively support business strategy, plans, and values - Drive a culture of Strong Performance Management Qualifications Required: - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment - Understanding of securities lending processes and/or knowledge of fixed income and equity settlements - Experience in cash or security settlements, loan and repo products, and exposure to global trading markets - Familiarity with systems like Global One, RMW, Bloomberg, BoNY Access ADM, Clearstream OnLine, EasyWay - Degree level education or equivalent Additional Details of the Company: Deutsche Bank strives for a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
