Job Summary We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented professional to lead and execute the procurement of ash handling, transportation, and disposal contracts from thermal power plants. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain expertise in ash handling technologies, a well-established network within both government and private sector power utilities, and a proven track record in industrial project bidding and client acquisition. Experience in selling services or products such as electrical/mechanical equipment, O&M solutions, consumables, or logisticsto thermal power plants is essential. Note - Other Candidate who does not deal with Thermal Power plants are not suitable Role & responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in ash transportation, handling, and disposal services within the thermal power sector. Build and nurture strong relationships with procurement and operational stakeholders in both government and private thermal power utilities. Leverage existing industry connections to identify and create actionable opportunities for ash handling and logistics services. Collaborate with operations and technical teams to organize site visits and develop accurate cost estimates with detailed cost breakdowns for proposals and tender submissions. Regularly monitor tender portals and industry updates for relevant opportunities in ash logistics and related services. Prepare pre-qualification documents, technical proposals, and commercial bids in coordination with internal engineering and finance teams. Ensure timely and compliant submission of all tender documents and proposals. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for clients during pre-bid, bidding, and post-bid discussions. Attend technical meetings and conduct site visits to thoroughly understand client requirements and align solutions accordingly. Contract Finalization: Lead negotiations on commercial terms, project timelines, and scope of services. Work with internal legal and commercial teams to finalize agreements and contracts. Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with project execution, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure service offerings align with client expectations and organizational capabilities Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; MBA in Marketing/ sales/ Business Development/Operations is an added advantage. 5 -15 years of experience in business development, with a focus on selling to or working with thermal power plants. Proven experience in business development, sales, or procurement within the Thermal power or steel sector. Should have good database of Thermal Power plants / Cement / RMC / Mines Candidate who has sold any material, machinery to Thermal Power plant. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze tender documents and prepare compelling bids. Proactive approach with a strong network of industry contacts. Result-oriented with a focus on achieving targets. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively across India for client engagement, site assessments, and project development activities. Criteria: Should have a good database of Thermal Power Plants and should have experience in selling any raw materials, Solution, services, lubricants for machinery or equipment or Logistics or should have experience in procurement of flyash. Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and driven professional to lead our Fly Ash Export division. The Head ASH Exports will be responsible for driving global sales, developing international markets, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the efficient and profitable export of fly ash from India. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in exporting fly ash , a robust database of international customers , and deep domain knowledge of various grades of fly ash and prevailing market rates . Key Responsibilities Business Development : Identify and onboard international buyers of fly ash, leveraging existing relationships and networks across Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Client Management : Maintain strong relationships with key overseas clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term contracts. Market Intelligence : Monitor global demand, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats. Product Expertise : Understand and differentiate between various grades and classifications of fly ash (e.g., Class F, Class C), including quality parameters, usability, and value proposition for end-users. Pricing & Negotiation : Develop pricing strategies in line with global market rates and margins. Negotiate favorable contracts with customers and shipping/logistics partners. Supply Chain Coordination : Coordinate with domestic suppliers, transporters, port authorities, and customs for smooth and timely exports. Compliance & Documentation : Ensure adherence to all international trade regulations, export documentation, and quality certifications. Strategy & Planning : Develop annual export plans, sales forecasts, and expansion strategies in alignment with company goals. Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing exports team, overseeing sales, logistics, documentation, and after-sales service. Preferred candidate profile Experience : Minimum 15 years of experience in exporting fly ash , with a solid understanding of the industry and regulatory landscape. Network : Well-established network of international fly ash buyers , agents, distributors, and shipping partners. Knowledge : Deep understanding of fly ash classifications , applications (e.g., cement, concrete, bricks), quality standards, and prevailing international pricing . Skills : Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, supply chain coordination, and market development skills. Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English. Education : Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering, International Business, or a related field preferred.
