AS400/RPG Gurgaon, Kolkata

As an AS400/RPG professional with over 10 years of experience, your role will involve programming in AS400 using DB2, RPG, RPG ILE, and embedded SQL RPG ILE. You will also work with System/36, COBOL, and COBOL ILE. Your strong expertise in DB2 SQL, including experiment table and stored procedure creation, will be valuable in this position. Utilizing multiple RPG versions and other programming languages, you will modify, design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. Your knowledge of P&C Insurance and experience with AS400 CL, CLLE programming, journaling, and triggers will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Create new RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, COBOL programs - Fix and modify older RPG programs - Provide production support - Evaluate service level issues and suggest enhancements - Prepare documentation of software requirements - Create technical design recommendations for program development and integration Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/MCA - Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) - Strong team work experience and demonstrated leadership abilities - Quick learner with good problem-solving skills - Experience leading a team of Developers and working on multiple projects with Onsite/Client Coordination - Ability to work independently In this role, your excellent communication skills, successful teamwork experience, and leadership abilities will be crucial.
