Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform using RPG, CL, and DB2/400.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and code.
Modify and enhance existing AS400 applications to meet evolving business needs.
Develop and maintain batch jobs, reports, and interactive programs in RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE / Free RPG).
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues in development and production environments.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to ensure smooth integration and data flow.
Create and maintain technical documentation for all code changes and new development.
Provide support for deployment activities, job monitoring, and performance tuning on the AS400 system.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Stay up to date with new tools, technologies, and practices related to IBM i/AS400 systems.
