Job Description

Job Overview

IDPS Karhal is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Computer Teacher who can effectively teach students the fundamentals of computer science, coding, and digital literacy. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, student-focused, and passionate about integrating technology into education.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science for Primary or Middle school students (as per PRT/TGT level).
Teach basics of MS Office, Internet safety, computer applications, and introductory coding (Scratch, HTML, etc.).
Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab and maintain lab discipline.
Prepare and assess tests, assignments, and student projects.
Integrate computer-based learning across other subjects where needed.
Stay updated with the latest tech trends in education and suggest improvements.
Ensure safety and maintenance of computer systems in the lab.

Qualifications & Skills

BCA/MCA or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science / IT or equivalent.
B.Ed. (Preferred as per CBSE norms).
1–3 years of relevant teaching experience (freshers with strong knowledge may also apply).
Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, basic programming, internet tools.
Excellent communication and class management skills.
Experience with educational software or smart classrooms is a plus.
