We seek a passionate artist (AKA Creative Nerd!) with a strategic and creative approach to designing and producing high-quality visuals for casino slot games. The ideal candidate should possess: Experience:- 2+ Years in Relevant Roles: Proven track record as a Game Artist, Digital Visual Artist. iGaming Industry Success: Demonstrated artistic excellence for games. Mastery of Colour Theory: Understanding how colours interact and evoke emotions to create harmonious and impactful visuals. Strong Drawing and Illustration Skills: The ability to create visually appealing and expressive characters, environments, and objects. Composition and Layout Expertise: Skilfully arranging elements within a frame to create balanced and engaging scenes. Keen Eye for Detail: Meticulous attention to details, ensuring visual consistency and high-quality artwork. UI/UX Design: Creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance player experience. Animation Skills: Understanding of 2D animation principles to create dynamic in-game assets. Organizational & Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Problem-Solving: Expertise in solving complex problems with attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Pre-Production:- Scope Analysis and Work Breakdown: Understanding the clients vision, goals, and expectations for the artwork. Clear understanding of what will be created and delivered. It acts as a blueprint for the creative process and helps manage expectations throughout the project. Conceptualization & Planning: Multiple creative ideas and exploring different visual representations of the projects core requirements. Developing sketches, mood boards, or prototypes to visualize the ideas and explore different artistic directions. Concept Sketches: Create multiple options/variety to communicate ideas visually and concepts during the early stages of a creative project. Highly experienced use of AI to Increase the productivity. Proposal Presentation: Prepare PowerPoint presentation to create visually appealing and organized slides to present the outcome. 2D Artwork Production:- High Quality: Crafting meticulously detailed, high-resolution art assets (Characters, Props, Backgrounds, and UI elements) using the approved concepts. Player-Centric Approach: Design compelling visuals that enhance user experiences. Trends and Analysis: Analyse trends and other games to develop standout game features. Research market trends and other games to drive creative concepts and challenge industry norms. Scope and Timelines: Ensuring that the final product aligns with the needs of the client and is delivered on time. Animation Support: Preparing layered files for animations Interests & Knowledge:- Interests & Knowledge:- Slot Games: Keen interest in games with knowledge of game mechanics. Player Experience: Focus on enhancing player experience through visuals. Player Behaviour: Basic understanding of player behaviours and preferences. General Skills Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Leadership: Strong leadership and communication abilities. Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor / Master In Fine Arts or equivalent In 2d visual arts Prior experience as a game artist or a related field is desirable. 2+ years of experience as a 2D Artist with a solid understanding of game visual production and competitor games. Experience with UI/UX design in gaming. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Capable of multitasking across multiple projects.
