Job_Description: At Ingenuity Gaming, we are seeking a creative and highly skilled Prototype Engineer to join our dynamic game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing andbuilding prototypes for new and innovative slot game concepts. You will collaborate withmathematicians, designers and artists to translate game ideas into playable prototypes,helping to test new features, mechanics, and themes. Your work will play a crucial part in thedevelopment of high-quality slot games that will be enjoyed by players worldwide Key Responsibilities: Prototype Development : Build interactive prototypes for slot games, showcasing game mechanics, features, and themes. Implement basic gameplay loops, UI/UX elements, and core game features. Collaboration: Work closely with mathematicians, game designers and artists to ensure game Math and art is integrated into the prototype Game Mechanics Testing : Experiment with different slot game mechanics (such as reels, pay lines, bonus features, jackpots, etc.), ensuring that they function properly and are fun to play. Rapid Iteration: Quickly iterate on prototypes based on feedback from internal stakeholders, adjusting gameplay mechanics, graphics, and user flows to meet design goals. Game Balance: Work with Mathematicians to ensure the prototype is balanced and functions within the limits of game rules, user engagement, and monetization strategies. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation on the development process, game features, and technical specifications for future reference. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors products, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to prototype designs. Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve bugs, glitches, and gameplay issues during the prototyping phase to ensure a seamless user experience. Requirements Experience: Proven experience as a game prototype engineer, designer, or developer, with a strong portfolio of interactive prototypes, particularly in the casino or slot gaming space. Experience in working with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or other relevant tools for rapid prototyping. Experience with slot games or casino-style games is a strong advantage. Technical Skills: Proficiency in prototyping tools and languages (such as Unity, C#, JavaScript, or similar). Understanding of basic game design principles, including RNG (random number generation), paylines, bonus rounds, and in-game economies. Experience with graphic and UI tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.) for creating game assets in the prototyping phase. Ability to implement animations, sound effects, and basic player feedback in prototypes. Creative Skills: Strong creative problem-solving skills to develop new and exciting game mechanics. Ability to rapidly prototype new ideas and iterate on feedback to improve designs. A deep understanding of player psychology and what makes a slot game engaging, rewarding, and fun. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and an ability to meet technical and creative standards. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical team members. PreferredQualifications: Bachelors degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field. Familiarity with slot game monetization strategies, including in-game purchases, micro transactions, and rewards systems. Experience working with mobile or web-based slot games. Knowledge of current industry trends and emerging technologies in gaming. ,
