Artificial Intelligence Lead

As the A.I. Lead at Airbus Innovation Centre India & South Asia (AIC), you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of data scientists and data analysts to develop cutting-edge AI products within the aviation industry. With a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in AI, you will guide the team in the creation of innovative solutions with a particular focus on Large Language Models (LLM), Computer Vision, and open-source machine learning models. Your expertise in system engineering, especially Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), will be essential in ensuring the successful integration of AI technologies into aviation systems while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the team to design and deploy AI-driven solutions for aviation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project goals, and providing technical leadership in selecting and optimizing machine learning models. You will drive the development of AI algorithms to address complex aviation challenges such as predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. Additionally, your role will involve mentoring team members, staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, and communicating project progress effectively to stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of successfully leading teams in AI product development, a deep understanding of system engineering principles, and extensive experience in designing and optimizing AI models using Python and relevant libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven approach to decision-making are crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams and conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred.
