Job Description

Responsible for teaching students about artificial intelligence (AI) and information technology (IT) concepts. This includes developing lesson plans, delivering engaging instruction, assessing student progress, and staying updated on the latest advancements in AI and IT. The role also involves fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and encouraging students to explore practical applications of technology. Key Responsibilities of an AI/IT Teacher: Curriculum Development and Delivery: Designing and implementing AI/IT curriculum aligned with educational standards and student needs. Creating engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and proficiency levels. Providing hands-on experience with AI tools and software. Instruction and Guidance: Teaching fundamental IT concepts, programming, and internet safety. Guiding students through AI projects and assignments, providing feedback and mentorship. Collaborating with other educators to integrate technology into the teaching framework. Assessment and Evaluation: Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback. Conducting periodic assessments to gauge understanding and identify areas for improvement. Staying Current: Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in AI and IT. Adapting teaching methods and materials to incorporate new technologies and approaches. Other Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining IT resources, ensuring equipment is functional and up-to-date. Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills through project-based learning. Skills and Qualifications: Strong technical skills in AI and IT, including programming languages, software applications, and educational technology tools. Teaching experience in computer science or related fields. Effective communication and teaching skills, especially for young learners. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs. Passion for technology and a desire to inspire students to learn.
