Arista Network Engineer

As a Cisco/Arista Network Engineer working on a project in Hyderabad, Nanakramguda, your role will involve replacing end-of-life devices with new hardware. You will collaborate with a team in India, reporting to the local manager while working closely with Amjad and his team for technical tasks. The project encompasses configuring and setting up 200-250 Cisco and Arista devices, collaborating with the hardware team, and validating replacements with the DC team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth configuration from point A to B, focusing on Cisco and Arista hardware compatibility. Key Responsibilities: - Replace end-of-life Cisco and Arista devices with new hardware - Collaborate with the hardware team for configuration and setup - Validate replacements with the DC team - Provide hands-on support for Cisco and Arista switches - Work on deploying Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls - Manage project tasks efficiently while working with different teams - Familiarize yourself with the OS and command structure for seamless operations Qualifications Required: - Experience in deploying Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls - 3-5 years of relevant experience in network engineering - Proficiency in Cisco and Arista devices - Strong project management skills for effective team collaboration - Ability to adapt to change management processes and communication strategies Please note that your work will predominantly be onsite in Hyderabad, with 4 days per week at the office. The project duration is initially set for 12 months, with a possibility of extension up to 24 months. You will be a key player in ensuring the successful replacement of devices and maintaining network efficiency across multiple data centers in Alpharetta, Sioux Falls, and Roseland.
