Sales Manager (SM) – FMCG Sales

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to expand our FMCG distribution network across Punjab. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in General Trade (GT), distributor management, team handling, market development, and achieving aggressive sales targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Key Result Areas (KRAs)Sales & Business Development

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary & secondary sales targets.
• Drive revenue growth and increase market share within the assigned territory.
• Improve product-wise sales and profitability.
• Ensure timely collections and outstanding payment control.

Distribution Expansion

• Appoint new Super Stockists and Distributors in potential markets.
• Strengthen and manage the existing distribution network.
• Ensure optimum stock availability and market servicing.
• Increase retail reach and market penetration.

Market Coverage

• Expand product availability across:
• General Trade (GT)
• Modern Trade (MT)
• Supermarkets
• Chemists
• Hardware Stores
• Institutions
• Conduct regular market visits and retailer meetings.
• Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets.

Team Management

• Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate Sales Officers and Sales Executives.
• Conduct joint field working and performance reviews.
• Drive productivity and ensure achievement of individual sales targets.

Brand Development

• Execute promotional activities and retailer engagement programs.
• Ensure proper implementation of schemes and trade offers.
• Maintain effective POSM visibility in the market.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

• Submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales Reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, new product launches, and market trends.
• Provide actionable market feedback to the management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans.
• Expand Mikado's distribution network.
• Build long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional customers.
• Achieve sales, collection, and distribution objectives.
• Ensure effective market coverage and business development.
• Represent Mikado Engineers professionally while maintaining high standards of customer service and business ethics.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 1– 3 + years of FMCG sales experience.
• Strong network with Super Stockists, Distributors, and Retailers.
• Proven track record in distributor appointment and sales growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
