Job Summary As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales operations in a designated geographic area. Your primary goal is to achieve sales targets, expand market reach, and build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients. You will lead a team of sales representatives, monitor market trends, and develop strategies to increase revenue and market share. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue. Targets within the assigned area, with a focus on expanding the market for tea products. Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure they meet individual and team sales goals. Identify and explore new business opportunities, including potential retailers, distributors, and strategic partnerships in your region. Customers, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term partnerships. Management on market trends, competition, and performance metrics.in-store promotions, product launches, and merchandising strategies. products by optimizing the supply chain and ensuring timely deliveries to retail outlets. while maximizing sales performance. Market activity, providing insights and recommendations for adjusting sales approaches. enhance their skills and product knowledge. Experience of (spices & detergent sector is highly preferred). Build and maintain strong relationships with key Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute. Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 4-12 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry (experience in tea, other Foods). Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market expansion. Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels and sales cycles. Knowledge of route-to-market strategies and retail activations. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
