As an Area Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage, lead, and support a team in order to achieve key business indicators outlined in the Annual Operating Plan and Balance Scorecard targets. Your duties include planning and organizing restaurant-specific Annual Operating Plans, executing marketing programs, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring operational excellence. You will work closely with Restaurant Managers to develop business plans, review monthly performance, and support the implementation of marketing initiatives. Monitoring competitors" activities, analyzing sales, labor, and inventory data, and coaching managers to achieve margin and sales growth targets are essential aspects of your role. In terms of restaurant excellence, you will set customer service standards, drive a customer-focused culture, and implement systematic solutions to address customer complaints. You will also be responsible for overseeing R&R activities, monitoring restaurant operations through KPIs, and ensuring adherence to safety and security procedures. Collaboration and teamwork are key components of your job, as you will be working with Regional Managers to analyze outcomes, provide input on training needs, and identify and develop high-potential employees. Additionally, you will evaluate the performance of restaurant management against established targets and implement plans for improvement. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5-6 years of experience, preferably in operations within a retail or consumer-oriented service industry, with a focus on multi-outlet food/quick service establishments.
