As an Associate Design Engineer at Ritex Real Estate LLC, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the development of architectural and structural design drawings for residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and consultants to translate project requirements into feasible design solutions. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing AutoCAD or BIM models, technical drawings, and construction documents. Your role will also involve supporting design proposals evaluation, providing input for material selection, layout optimization, and cost efficiency. You will participate in design coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with building codes, local regulations, and safety standards. Furthermore, your contribution to value engineering exercises will help optimize project costs without compromising quality or design intent. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture & Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Interior Designing, along with a Diploma in Architect. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools is essential. Strong computer skills, including Office Suite (MS Word, Power Point, and MS Excel), are required. Additionally, having a basic knowledge of structural and MEP systems, an understanding of design principles, construction methods, and building materials, as well as the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings will be beneficial.
