As an Architecture and MEP BIM Coordinator at BIMQP - BIM Qualified Professionals, you will play a crucial role in managing and integrating BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Your primary responsibilities will include leading BIM coordination efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration between multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining model quality and adherence to BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration of architecture and MEP models, conducting clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts, and facilitating communication to ensure design intent is maintained. Additionally, you will provide training and support for BIM tools and processes, prepare BIM reports, and maintain process documentation. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, including at least 2 years in architecture and MEP. Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, as well as a strong knowledge of MEP systems and clash detection, are essential. Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit) and BIM Management certification are preferred.
