Architectural Model Maker

Role Overview: As an Architectural Model Maker, your role involves building high-quality architectural scale models using a variety of materials such as acrylic, wood, cardboard, foam, resin, and 3D-printed components. You will interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, and CAD files to create accurate physical representations. Operating hand tools, laser cutters, CNC machines, and 3D printers to fabricate parts are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assemble and finish models with precision, including tasks like sanding, painting, and applying surface treatments. Collaboration with architects, designers, and project managers is essential to understand design intent and timelines. You will also assist in developing prototypes and mock-ups, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
