Architectural Drafter

Job Purpose

The Architectural Dra er will be responsible for developing precise and detailed architectural drawings and 3D models from architects concepts and specifications. The role requires strong technical drawing skills, a sound understanding of building codes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate and compliant project documentation.

Role & responsibilities

1) Analyze building specifica ons, codes, and site condi ons to ensure accuracy in drawings.

2) Translate architects sketches, concepts, and specifica ons into detailed technical drawings. 3) Prepare architectural drawings using AutoCAD/Revit and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

4) Incorporate exact measurements, calculations, and construction details into CAD drawings.

5) Develop and maintain 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings using BIM systems.

6) Produce and distribute schema c drawings for use by architects, engineers, and construction managers.

7) Visit project sites as required to verify dimensions and gather design-related data.

8) Maintain organized records, charts, and drawings using both CAD and conventional drawing techniques.

9) Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure adherence to design intent and regulatory requirements.

10) Stay updated with the latest drawing technologies, BIM advancements, and architectural design trends.

Preferred candidate profile

1) Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drawing, preferably in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

2) Prior experience with workflows and 3D rendering tools will be an added advantage.
