Architectural Designer

As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of infrastructure buildings, ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. You will collaborate with engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to create innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, schematic designs, layouts and detailed construction drawings in line with the project requirement
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and specifications for construction.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and other systems into the building design.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather information for design development.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals to communicate design concepts and solutions to clients and project stakeholders.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and internal project teams during all stages of the project.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and transportation design.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on Infrastructure Building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and other relevant regulations.
