Description / 3D MODELLING An architect is a licensed professional responsible for designing buildings, spaces, and structures. Their work blends art , science , and engineering to create environments that are both functional and visually appealing. Architects work closely with clients to understand their needs, then develop concepts, blueprints, and technical drawings that guide the construction process. Key Responsibilities: Designing residential, commercial, and public buildings Creating detailed architectural drawings and 3D models Ensuring structures meet safety codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and clients Overseeing construction progress and making on-site adjustments Integrating sustainable and environmentally friendly practices Skills and Qualities: Strong creative and artistic ability Technical knowledge of building systems and materials Attention to detail and spatial awareness Problem-solving and critical thinking Communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp Work Environment: Architects often split their time between office work—designing and planning—and on-site visits to oversee construction.
