As an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, your role will involve providing architectural design governance, technical leadership, and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to support critical business functions and meet project requirements. You will collaborate with various IT stakeholders across different business sectors to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with SFMC Business Analyst, Sector Product Owner, Sector IT, and Marketing teams to translate new requirements into best practice-led Salesforce Marketing Cloud technical designs. - Engage directly with stakeholders to design and govern highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable Salesforce solutions. - Develop detailed project plans and status reports to ensure project visibility and progress tracking. - Address ambiguous problems, take ownership of finding solutions, and simplify complex problems effectively. - Troubleshoot critical implementation issues and drive towards successful resolutions. - Utilize deep business knowledge of SFMC to support estimation for major new initiatives. - Provide oversight to a development team of up to 5 resources and ensure the technical delivery aligns with project requirements. - Design and implement complex solutions across Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio (cloud pages), Automation Studio, Journey Builder, etc. - Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems using SSJS and APIs. - Contribute to building SFMC CoE by creating reference architectures, common patterns, data models, and reusable assets to maximize business value. - Educate internal stakeholders about SFMC technology and its benefits. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent with 9-14+ years of IT experience, including at least 5+ years of experience with SFMC developer toolkit. - Proficiency in Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Web Studio, and Administration within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. - Experience in developing customer-facing user interfaces with Lightning Components. - Possession of active SFMC Developer Certification (SFMC Admin, Email Specialist, SFMC Developer, SFMC Consultant). - Strong experience in API integrations using SSJS. - Familiarity with Agile delivery practices. - Self-motivated, creative, and dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions.
