Architect

Job Summary:

The Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs from concept through to construction documentation, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to transform design ideas into practical, buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed drawings in line with client briefs and project requirements.
  
• Prepare and present design proposals using CAD, BIM, 3D modeling, and presentation software.
  
• Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.
  
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants throughout design and construction phases.
  
• Prepare architectural documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
  
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to architectural intent and quality standards.
  
• Modify plans based on client feedback, technical constraints, and coordination outcomes.
  
• Support project budgeting, material selection, and specification writing.
  
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from regulatory bodies.
  
• Stay updated with emerging trends in architecture, materials, sustainability, and design technologies.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  
• Licensed Architect or working towards licensure (depending on location).
  
• 3–10 years of experience in architectural design, preferably including built projects.
  
• Proficiency in architectural design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, etc.
  
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, and detailing.
  
• Excellent understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
