Architect-Infrastructure solutions

Role Overview: As an Architect specializing in infrastructure solutions, your primary responsibility will be to design and document infrastructure solutions for enterprise technologies like VMware. You will be expected to create design diagrams, high-level and low-level designs to support the architecture of various technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and document solutions for technologies including Nutanix, NetApp, EMC, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Printer Logic, Rubrik, and Zerto. - Develop technical documentation and presentations for infrastructure design. - Design architecture for enterprise data centers and sites, focusing on areas such as Hyper-converged Infrastructure, Virtualization, Server, Storage, Backup, Data Center, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including server, network, architecture, operations, engineering, and project management to implement infrastructure solutions. - Establish infrastructure best practices and standards. - Create data center upgrade, refresh, and migration design and roadmaps. - Analyze current technologies within the organization and suggest improvements. - Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions. - Engage with different groups and departments to gather requirements and produce cost-effective solutions. - Review infrastructure requirements and offer recommendations for enhancement and cost-saving measures. Qualifications Required: - Master's/Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline in science. - 8-12 years of experience in infrastructure architecture design, implementation, and support. - 5+ years of experience in infrastructure solutions architecture within large corporations. - Hands-on experience as an infrastructure technical engineer for at least 5 years. - Proficiency in data center designs and migrations for a minimum of 5 years. - Strong knowledge of cloud, automation, and networking. - Experience in using Microsoft Visio for technical documentation. - Ability to create comprehensive PowerPoint presentations covering solution aspects, designs, and associated costs with timelines. - Capability to integrate on-premises technology with cloud solutions. - Proficient in technical design and documentation.
