Experience Range: 12 to 20 years Hiring Locations: Chennai, Kochi, Trivandrum Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Product QA Manager with expertise in the US Healthcare Payer domain to lead our quality assurance initiatives . The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategies , ensuring regulatory compliance , and driving a product-centric QA approach . This role requires strong leadership in test automation, performance engineering, and CI/CD integration , ensuring that our products are scalable, secure, and reliable . Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Strategy & Leadership Define and implement QA processes, automation frameworks, and best practices tailored to healthcare products. Drive test planning, execution, and automation strategies to ensure scalability, security, and compliance . Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to integrate quality into the entire SDLC . Champion a shift-left testing approach , embedding quality early in the development lifecycle. Foster a data-driven quality culture , leveraging analytics to improve test effectiveness, defect trends, and product stability . Product Mindset & Engineering Collaboration Partner with Product Management to ensure QA strategies align with the product roadmap and customer needs . Define product-centric quality metrics that reflect user impact, performance, and reliability . Work closely with engineering teams to optimize testing in microservices, cloud-native architectures, and API-first designs . Advocate for continuous testing and CI/CD practices , ensuring frequent, high-quality releases . Encourage user experience-driven testing , focusing on customer workflows, accessibility, and performance . Team Management & Stakeholder Collaboration Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and automation engineers , fostering a culture of continuous improvement . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product testing strategies, defect management, and release readiness . Establish and track KPIs such as quality metrics, defect density, and test automation coverage to measure product quality. Test Automation & Performance Engineering Develop and implement automated testing frameworks for healthcare applications . Oversee performance, security, and integration testing for APIs, EDI transactions (X12), and healthcare workflows . Utilize tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestNG, Cypress , or other industry-standard automation frameworks . Collaborate with product engineers to implement automated quality gates , ensuring seamless integration of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines . Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay updated with emerging technologies , AI/ML in testing , and industry trends in healthcare product quality. Recommend process improvements, risk-based testing approaches, and AI-driven automation to enhance efficiency. Experiment with AI-powered testing tools to improve test coverage, predictive defect analysis, and self-healing automation scripts . Mandatory Skills: 15+ years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role . Strong expertise in the US Healthcare Payer domain . Experience in testing products within healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworks . Hands-on experience with test automation, performance testing, and security testing . Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) . Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and shift-left testing approaches. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with AI-driven test automation frameworks . Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, SAFe Agile, or healthcare compliance certifications . Experience with HL7, FHIR, and interoperability testing .
