Architect II - Enterprise Solutions - GCP

As an experienced Cloud Architect with 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture or systems engineering, you will play a crucial role at UST in optimizing applications and transforming them into scalable solutions in ERP/CRM systems. You will be responsible for reviewing designs, identifying problem patterns, and improving the technical design of applications/systems to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality. Your role will involve selecting appropriate technical options for development, validating results with user representatives, and influencing customer satisfaction through various means like offering code refactoring suggestions and completing sprint deliverables ahead of time. Key Responsibilities: - Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguring existing components - Identify problem patterns and enhance the technical design of applications/systems - Validate results with user representatives, integrate and commission the overall solution - Influence and improve customer satisfaction through code refactoring suggestions, completing sprint deliverables ahead of time, and offering design suggestions - Learn and implement newly released technology features whenever possible - Conduct technical assessments for hiring candidates in architect/lead roles - Review designs and ensure adoption of industry best practices - Design, execute, and maintain business domain solution architecture - Guide and review technical delivery by internal teams - Resolve delivery and design issues - Serve as a technology and process expert Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture or systems engineering - Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including App Engine, Big Data, Compute Engine, Mobile solutions, etc. - Experience in architecting elegant solutions on the Google Cloud Platform - Experience leading large-scale network migrations to GCP - Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Terraform - Knowledge of security, identity, and access management - Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with a mission to make a real impact through transformation.
