Job Description

  • Project Planning and Design:

    • Leads and manages teams in developing architectural designs and plans for projects.
    • Collaborates with clients to understand and translate their needs and requirements into architectural designs.
    • Oversees the design process, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
    • Reviews and approves project drawings, specifications, and budgets.
  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Leads, manages, and mentors a team of architects and designers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
    • Assigns responsibilities to team members, delegates tasks effectively, and monitors their work progress.
  • Project Management and Oversight:

    • Manages the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Coordinates with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors, facilitating communication and collaboration.
    • Monitors project progress, identifies potential risks, and implements corrective measures to keep projects on track.
  • Compliance and Standards:

    • Ensures designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Develops and implements architecture standards and best practices within the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
    • Provides stakeholders with regular updates on project progress, risks, and budgetary matters.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture and design.
    • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
    • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in architectural design software like AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Knowledge of technical standards and best practices for design, construction, and safety.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
    • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with diverse teams.
