Architect

As an Architect at our India office in Cochin, Kerala, you will be responsible for developing architectural design concepts, layouts, and presentations based on project requirements. Your role will involve preparing architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD and other design tools. Collaborating with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and coordinated designs will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and client requirements, especially those relevant to UAE authorities. It will be essential for you to revise and update drawings based on feedback and assist in preparing material specifications, design reports, and tender documents. Your participation in design reviews and contribution to value engineering efforts will be crucial. Staying up to date with architectural trends, materials, and regional regulatory updates will also be expected from you. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch). - Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in architecture and design. - UAE experience is highly preferred; strong knowledge of UAE municipal regulations (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMT, etc.) and authority submission procedures is a strong advantage. - Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. Knowledge of Revit, BIM, Lumion or 3Ds Max is a plus. - Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and construction detailing. - Excellent visualization, communication, and coordination skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. - Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to design challenges.
