Position Title: Arc Welder
Department: Fabrication / Manufacturing / Construction
Reports To: Welding Supervisor or Production Manager

Location - Chakan

Job Summary:

The Arc Welder is responsible for fusing metal components using arc welding techniques to fabricate or repair products and structures according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform arc welding (SMAW/GMAW/GTAW) to join metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Inspect and prepare surfaces and materials before welding.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections of welds and components.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain welding equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) preferred.
• 1–3 years of welding experience, especially in arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment:

• May involve standing for long periods, bending, and lifting.
• Exposure to loud noise, sparks, fumes, and high temperatures.
• Work may be indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
