AR / AP Accountant

Role Overview: As an AR / AP Accountant on a 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract in our Finance team in India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, supporting statutory compliance, and contributing to the company's commercial success. Your collaborative work environment in our Bangalore office will drive accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. Key Responsibilities: - Process sales and purchase invoices accurately using Zoho Books. - Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations. - Assist in month-end tasks and prepare precise financial statements. - Handle GST returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, PT, etc.). - Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide analytical summaries for movements. - Collaborate with various departments to enforce cost control, budgeting, and process adherence. - Support initiatives aimed at cost reduction and revenue increase. - Generate reports for the Finance Manager, maintaining compliance with company procedures. - Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior management (Finance Manager, Group Financial Controller, CFO, COO, or CEO). Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of statutory compliance in India, particularly GST, TDS, PF, and PT. - Proficiency in accounting systems, with experience in Zoho Books preferred. - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes. - Ability to collaborate across departments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Must be based in our Bangalore office for 5 days per week.,
