Aqueduct Financial Planning Ltd (“AQFP”) is an accountancy practice based in Dublin, Ireland. We are looking to outsource some of our service aspects to an outside individual (hereinafter referred to as ‘Associate’, “you” etc.) with a permanent establishment in India. The associate will be engaged in an independent, self-employed capacity subject to an offer of contract from us and acceptance of its terms. Applications are accepted until 9:30 am Irish Time on Monday, 14th July 2025. This contract offers you a 5 day week remote engagement option. For the purpose of this engagement your designation will be “Associate”. You will be engaged in an independent, self-employed capacity. Important: The nature of the contract does not constitute a Contract of Employment and the awarding of a contract to you does not imply a future guarantee of employment, work visa or employment permit with us. Important: Candidates who have applied for a position with us in the previous 2 years need not apply. You can expect to be engaged to assist with the following areas: Management Accounts Year-end statutory accounts Statutory Audits Payroll Income Tax Corporate Tax Relevant Contract Tax Bookkeeping & VAT Company secretarial Compliance Ad-hoc consultancy or advisory services Working Days: Monday to Friday Working hours: Normally 11.30 am to 8.00 pm Indian Standard Time (1 hour break, 7h 30 m working hours) with 1 week every 2 weeks required to work to Irish Standard Time 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (1 hour break, 7h 30 m working hours). You may be from time to time required to work to a different shift or extended hours, when the firm is busy. Qualifications: Master of Commerce/ Bachelor of Commerce/ CA/ACCA or similar (Part qualified/Finalist/Fully Qualified) Persons holding own practice with own clients will not be considered. Experience: 3-7 years Experience Contract Type: Full time, 1 year rolling contract basis Indicative remuneration: upto ₹11,00,000 per annum What we look for in you: Excellent command of English, both written and verbal. Individuals with exposure to dealing with clients in UK or Ireland will be given preference. Experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential. Working with small and medium firms and end to end accounting skills is essential. Strong double entry skills and a good grasp of all accounting aspects of SMEs. A proven academic record from leaving certificate to graduation. Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new systems, process and adaption to new work cultures. Ability to work on your own initiative and following instructions when tasked to do so. A willingness to self-learn the Irish tax and company law while fully utilizing the supplementary resources and training provided. Please note that actual remuneration offer to you may vary depending on the exact circumstances of your experience and educational qualifications. Remuneration will paid in fixed EUR (€) currency denomination on a monthly basis and the converted INR (₹) amounts you receive may be subject to exchange rate differences or transaction charges. More details will be in the final offer of contract. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION You will be required to work from the address that you have identified as your permanent establishment in India. You will be required to supply your own computer equipment necessary to carry out the work. We will specify the minimum requirements in the offer of contract if we decide to hire your services, and you will required to upgrade your systems if necessary. You will be entitled to a total of 30 annual leaves in a leave year. This includes mandatory leave observances of 10 public holidays as per the Irish Holiday Calendar. You may avail of further 20 planned holidays. This 20 day allowance is including any public holiday observances of the Indian holiday calendar which you wish to take and that falls on a day of the week (Mon – Fri). You will comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) of the European Union.
